We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our partners - a global leader in life sciences and diagnostics - for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL). This role focuses on advancing medical education and scientific engagement around innovative biomarker testing for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease

Position Summary

This is not a traditional drug-focused MSL position. Instead, it lies at the intersection of neurology, diagnostics, and laboratory medicine. You will support healthcare professionals, researchers, and laboratory leaders in understanding the role of novel biomarkers in the diagnosis and management of neurodegenerative diseases.

As a field-based scientific expert, the MSL will engage in peer-to-peer exchange with KOLs and HCPs to shape the future of research, diagnosis, and care in this field. The position reports to the MSL Director Europe, who leads the neurodegenerative disease program across the region.


Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert in neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., Alzheimer's) and associated biomarkers
  • Build and maintain strong scientific relationships with neurologists, geriatricians, cognitive disorder specialists, and diagnostic laboratory leaders
  • Educate stakeholders on the science, current research, and evolving landscape of neurodegenerative disease biomarker testing
  • Support field readiness by providing balanced, non-promotional, and compliant scientific information to facilitate stakeholder familiarity with biomarkers in neurodegenerative diseases
  • Attend and support engagement at key scientific congresses and relevant diagnostics meetings
  • Gather and relay field insights to inform medical strategies, educational content, and evidence-generation initiatives
  • Participate in broader medical affairs activities, including advisory boards, data dissemination, and investigator-initiated studies (IIS)
  • Support additional scientific exchange and collaboration as needed

Profil recherché

Required Qualifications & Competencies
  • Advanced degree in a medical or scientific field (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO) or relevant clinical equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years in an MSL, clinical educator, or diagnostic liaison role preferred
  • Prior experience in neurology, neurodegenerative disease, or diagnostics/laboratory medicine strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of biomarkers, clinical guidelines, and diagnostic pathways in neurodegenerative disease
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and scientific exchange skills
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities with KOLs and diagnostic stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 50–75% and live near a major airport

Contract & Compensation

Type of contract: Full-time, CDI (Contrat à Durée Indéterminée)
Salary: 90K€ annually + performance-based bonuses and benefits
